1.) Who operates the poll pad, checking in and verifying voters?
  • The coordinator
  • One inspector while another inspector runs back and forth from each table
  • A bi-partisan inspector team who is actively checking in and verifying the voter together
2.) What do you do when a voter's address appears in the poll pad differently from what they gave you?
  • Give the Voter the Notice and explain that they can vote by affidavit ballot or seek a court order to vote on the machine and do not check them in
  • Ask to see their license and update their information
  • Tell them to go home and come back next year
  • Check them in and give them a ballot anyway
3.) What do you do when a poll watcher hands you their poll watcher certificate?
  • Use it as scrap paper
  • Check to ensure the name is correct and signed by the chairperson from one of the parties or a current candidate. Then, please place it in the back of the white binder at the lowest ED table. I understand this is a new procedure
  • The poll watchers can do whatever they want
