Urge County Executive Curran not to veto Rat Extermination Amendment!

Nassau County residents have continued to voice their complaints about rat infestations in our communities, often originating from County owned sumps or storm water basins. At town hall meetings I have held across the district, and in various emails and calls to my office, residents are looking for a solution to this quality of life and safety issue.

Last week I submitted an amendment to the County Executive’s budget, calling for funding for the reinstatement of Rodent Extermination by the County’s Health Department. This funding will go directly towards protecting our quality of life and keeping residents safe.

Join me in urging the County Executive to accept this important measure!
